This Privacy Policy explains what information Emoji Copyboard (âweâ, âusâ) handles when you use emojicopyboard.com (the âSiteâ). The short version: we donât ask for your name, we donât have accounts, and the preferences the Site remembers stay in your own browser.
Information We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account or submit personal information to use the Site.
- Preferences stored in your browser. Your recently copied emoji, chosen skin tone, and light or dark theme are saved in your browserâs local storage so the Site can remember them. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us.
- Clipboard. The Site writes to your clipboard only when you click an emoji or a copy button. It never reads your clipboard.
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, and the general location, device, and browser they come from. See âCookies and Analyticsâ below.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of the request, to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart and measure usage. It collects information such as pages viewed, referring websites, approximate location, device type, and browser. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy, and you can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
We use this information only in aggregate to improve the Site. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not try to identify individual visitors.
Your choice. Google Analytics cookies are set only after you click âAcceptâ in our cookie banner. Until then, and if you click âDeclineâ, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that sends basic, non-identifying signals (such as a page view) without storing anything on your device. Advertising features are always off. Your choice is saved in your browser for 12 months, and you can change it at any time with the âCookie Settingsâ link in the footer. Declining also removes any Google Analytics cookies already set. You can also block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Apart from Google Analytics, the Site does not use advertising or other third-party tracking scripts, and our fonts are served from our own domain. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

Data Retention
Preferences in your browser stay until you clear them. You can remove them at any time by clearing this siteâs data in your browser settings. We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your request.
